Do you test products in your own laboratory?
No. This site has no testing facility. Every figure is traced to a manufacturer spec sheet, a published technical or care document, an independent measurement, or patterns in public owner reports — and each page states which of those its numbers come from.
Do you write "best of" listicles?
Some entries compare three specific products, because a side-by-side table of declared specifications is genuinely useful. What we avoid is ranking by popularity or by who pays the most. Selection follows the published specification and the stated limitation of each product.
Why does this site have no deals section?
It is an editorial publication, not a price aggregator. A deals board would change what the site is and how a network reviews it, so there is not one and there will not be one. Pages that exist only to move a purchase are not part of this publication.
How do you choose the three products in a comparison?
We look for products where the manufacturer publishes enough specification to be compared honestly on the property that matters for the use case. A product with a thin spec sheet is often excluded for that reason alone, even if it is well regarded.
What happens if a manufacturer changes a specification?
We re-check before a substantive update and advance the updated date on the entry. Product pages change without notice, so treat a figure as accurate at the date shown and re-check before buying.
Are the affiliate links labelled?

What is the difference between your categories and a department store?
We cover four narrow things: rugs and floor coverings, curtains and window treatments, throws and cushions, and the method for choosing between them. We do not cover furniture, lighting, or bedding.
Can I republish your comparison tables?
Not in full, as your own work. Short extracts with a link back to the source page are fine. The details are in our Terms.
