Affiliate Disclosure

Some pages on this site carry affiliate links. If you buy something through one of those links, the merchant may pay Calm Finds a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not change the price you pay.

Where the disclosure appears

On any page that contains outbound product links, a line reading "Some links below are affiliate links — we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you." appears directly beneath the heading of the picks section, above the first product link. It is on the same screen as the links themselves, so you can see the recommendation and the disclosure together rather than having to hunt for it.

Outbound links route through an internal page at /go. That page repeats the disclosure and gives you a short countdown before the destination loads. You can cancel at any point on that page and stay here instead.

Where a page links to Amazon, it also carries the required line "As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases."

How links are labelled

Every affiliate link on this site carries rel="nofollow sponsored" and opens in a new tab. That attribute is a machine-readable instruction; it is not something we ask you to rely on as a reader. The human-readable disclosure described above is the one that is meant for you.

What commission does not change

Commission does not determine what appears in a comparison table, what order the picks are listed in, or whether a product is recommended at all. Selection is based on the published specification and the stated limitation of each product. The full method is set out in How We Measure.

What this site does not do

There is no deals board on this site, no coupon roundups, no price-drop alerts, and no countdown offers. Pages that exist only to move a purchase are not part of this publication.
